Jacob Hill
Founder & CEO
Hi! I'm Jacob from England, a long-time English teacher, language learner and founder of one of the best-rated language schools in the Czech Republic.
Since 2014, I've been on a mission to make a language learning system that gets you to a practical conversational level as efficiently as humanly possible, by focusing on only learning on what you need to be conversational and obsessively organising the order in which you learn to make the fastest progress.
I've used this system myself to learn Czech and Spanish, as well as to teach English, and I'm excited to now teach you using the same exact system, alongside awesome native speakers for each language!
Your Co-Teachers
For our non-English courses, we have our awesome native speakers who check that everything is correct, show correct pronunciation, take part in our fun StoryTime and Small Talk videos, and co-host the podcast for that language.
Diego
From Chile
Diego is from Chile and is Jacob's co-teacher for our Spanish course. He has been teaching Spanish and English (being fluent in both) for over 12 years around the world and is a huge fan of barbecues!
Claire
From France
Claire is from France and is Jacob's co-teacher for our French course. She is bilingual in both English and French and has had a varied career spanning the world from Australia to the Czech Republic.
Beata
From Czech Republic
Beata is from the Czech Republic and is Jacob's co-teacher for our Czech course. She is a huge fan of all things Czech like fried cheese, beer and going on trips to "the nature"!
Caroline
From Germany
Caroline is from Germany and is Jacob's co-teacher for our German course. She met Jacob randomly at a hostel in Australia where they bonded over goon and a love of languages!
