This policy explains which cookies languageswithatwist.com uses. The short version: we use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and nothing else.

1. What we do not use

We want to be specific, because most cookie policies are not. This Website does not use analytics cookies, advertising or retargeting cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any other third-party tracking script. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not share browsing data with anyone.

Our page fonts are served from our own servers rather than loaded from an outside provider, so simply reading the site contacts no one but us.

2. The cookies we do use

Sign-in cookies.

When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets cookies that keep you signed in as you move between pages. Without them you would be signed out on every click. They contain a session token, not your password, and they are removed when you sign out.

If you only browse the public pages and never sign in, the Website sets no cookies on your device at all.

3. Why we do not ask for consent

Under EU and Czech law, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — analytics and advertising cookies, for example. The sign-in cookies described above are strictly necessary to provide a service you have actively asked for, so no consent banner is required. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

4. Websites we link to

Some links take you to other companies' websites — Payhip (where leaflet purchases are completed), Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. Nothing from those services runs on our pages, but once you follow a link, that company's own cookie policy applies. Buying a leaflet happens entirely on Payhip, so their policy covers the checkout.

5. Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because the only cookies we set are the sign-in ones, blocking them will not affect reading the site — but you will not be able to stay signed in.
